Our Story

Our love of golf began at an early age.

It started with long afternoons spent with family and close friends—an escape from the world, a chance to bond, and a game that could be played for a lifetime. But as time went on, golf became more than just a hobby. It became a way to connect with people in business and in life. And then, one day, we all made the decision to get “serious” about it—because, let’s be honest, if you’re going to play, why not play well? That’s when the upgraded clubs, shoes, shirts, pants, and—let’s not forget—lessons came into the picture.

Thankfully, the game grew into so much more than just an investment in equipment.

It became a journey, one that taught us about patience, precision, and the thrill of the perfect shot. Sure, we’ve had our fair share of double bogeys, but the highs—like hitting that elusive birdie—made it all worth it.

The idea for Glove Off Golf came about in a moment of pure, competitive banter.

It happened on the 2nd hole—just as the banter started to heat up. Only one of us made the green, so as Jim stepped off the tee box, he flashed us a grin and said, “I’m taking my glove off.” It wasn’t just about making a par—it was a reminder that he was in control, maybe even eyeing that birdie. That simple line became a running joke at the club, something we all used to needle each other, whether we were in a serious match or just out for fun.

Soon, it wasn’t just our group using it—it became part of the vernacular at the club. And if you played enough golf with us, you’d know that “taking the glove off” was about more than just removing a piece of gear. It was a little gesture, a swagger, and a way of saying, “I’ve got this, and I’m here to make it count.”

Whether it’s a Par 3, 4, or 5, there’s nothing better than reaching the green in regulation and casually flashing that “taking my glove off” gesture to your group.

It’s the ultimate “I’ve got this” moment, the kind that makes all the bad rounds worth it. And when you travel the world for golf, you realize the phrase takes on a life of its own. We’ve heard it in caddies’ banter, too: “You only need your putter, you can take your glove off now.” It’s that universal moment of confidence, a gesture that transcends language barriers.

This is the spirit we wanted to capture with Glove Off Golf.

It’s about more than just the game; it’s about the attitude, the swagger, and the fun that comes with being out on the course. Our goal was to create something that would not only elevate your performance but also add a little flair to your game. Whether you’re on the 1st tee or celebrating at the 19th hole, we hope our products bring you a bit of that competitive fire and a whole lot of fun.

So, to the golfer who plays with flair and knows how to enjoy the moment, GO golf !  Hopefully you are taking your glove off before and more than the rest of your foursome.

And, let’s make every round one to remember.
